Pacific Whale Foundation strives to host a green event. We are committed to creating a sustainable festival that betters our environment rather than harm it. We have taken the below steps to promise a festival with a positive environmental impact.


Local and Organic Products
Whenever possible we have selected local and/or organic products to sell at Pacific Whale Foundation's food booth.

Sustainable Seafood

Recycling
Recycling stations are placed throughout the venue for glass, plastic, paper and aluminum products.

Biking Benefits
Attendees are encourage to ride their bike to the event. There will be special bike parking for those choosing this mode of transportation.

Eco-Alley
Ideas for green living and displays by nonprofits and government agencies working to preserve Maui's unique environment.

Biodegradable Food Ware
Maui Whale Festival discourages the use of Styrofoam and plastic food ware. Our food vendors use biodegradable plates and utensils.

Eco-Friendly Promotional Material
Whale Day programs are printed on recycled paper with soy-based ink.
